So very very SAD SAD SAD
In the 11th episode you find out Sora is dying.
She has a disease that mage's can get where once they are startled there heart doesn't slow down beating. After this they have around a year to live.
Gouta find's out she was startled last summer.
They graduate mage training and Sora tells Gouta he can get married and have children but please remember her.
All of them go home after graduation but promise Sora they will visit her in Biei.

In this anime there is a tree which she played by with her father as a small child.
Since his death she goes to this tree to talk to him.

Gouta text messsages her and tells her he's going to work hard and show her the seas of the world. He sends her a photo of himself by the sea. She texts him and shows him a picture of her beside the tree and a field.

She has fulfilled her promise to her father which was to become a mage.
Now its time to fill his magic request: To see her in a wedding dress.
She uses magic to show herself getting married to Gouta.
She dies with her mother holding her and a smile upon her face.

5 Years Later
Asagi & Kuroda are together planning on a trip to Biei. They decide to get the ice cream Sora said was so good. I think her name was Saori (its the one that wore the army shorts that also like Gouta) she has her dream and is a mage senpai. Her student is worried about becoming a mage and she tells her what she learned from Sora. The girl that Sora loved to listen to that sang by the train station now has her own album and made a song because of Sora.

Gouta now has long hair and riding a motorcycle. He is searching for the tree in Biei that was in the photo Sora sent him. He gets directions from what looks to be Sora's mother and tells her he's going to see his girlfriend. She gives him a tomato. He gets to the tree and talks to Sora and tells her he's seen all the seas now. He uses his magic to show her the seas. He takes out his necklace which is made from the stone Sora found on the beach. He says he can do his best because she is always with him.

I've seen the 1st and last. They haven't any similarities other than they are all about mages/mage schools/ magic requests etc... The characters are not the same as well.

I know Someday's Dreamer didn't have any romance in it. It also has a happy ending where she just goes back home after touching so many lives.


There is a manga and I heard Gouta is a big pervert in it. I've not read it.
